Links can now be set directly inside a text block in the Guest App. Selecting a section of text and clicking the link icon opens a field for the URL, and the selected text then becomes the link. The sidebar now shows a live preview of every page instead of a blank card, so you can see the whole channel at a glance and jump straight to the page you need. Giggle customers can now display the short experience description, which is far easier to read from across a room. YouTube links work in any format, including Shorts and links with timestamps. The Guest App has had the biggest update in its history: a full redesign, shaped by what customers asked for. A fresher look and more intuitive navigation put your property’s own content, offers and extra services at the centre, so guests find what to see, what to do and what to book far more easily. The more often the app is opened, the more guests discover and book. The update arrives automatically, at no extra cost and with nothing to set up on your side. Guests download the app from the app stores as usual.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Gastfreund is now officially certified with protel Cloud PMS by Planet. Guests open the Guest App via the journey email or an in-app banner, complete pre-check-in directly in the app, and have their booking details personalised under “My Stay” once linked. After check-in, they can view their invoice at any time \u2014 no front desk visit needed. Data flows back to protel automatically, with no double entry. The result: fewer questions at reception, less admin in the background, and more time for the guests.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

MARA x Gastfreund turn reviews into action, automatically: Bad reviews often point to real problems, but there’s rarely time to read every one and act on it. With our new MARA integration, reviews from Google, Booking, and Tripadvisor are analysed automatically. When a concrete issue is detected, a service ticket is created and lands straight in Hotelboard, complete with the complaint, room number, recommended action, and a link back to the original review for a quick response. Answers have also become significantly more accurate. Time-aware queries work properly too, so questions about seasons, tonight’s events, or tours in April return genuinely matching results. Guests asking for service forms are now taken straight to the right form.
